Tyler Q. Houlton to Join Chartwell Strategy Group as Senior Vice President

Chartwell Strategy Group today announced that Republican communications and policy strategist Tyler Q. Houlton is joining the firm as a Senior Vice President. Most recently, Tyler served as Chief of Staff to Congressman Tony Wied (WI-08). He possesses significant executive branch, congressional and private sector experience. Chartwell Strategy Group is a government relations and strategic communications firm that partners with world leaders, global CEOs, trade associations and influential companies to navigate high-stakes public policy and geopolitical reputation management issues.

Tyler previously served in the Trump Administration as the Acting Assistant Secretary of Public Affairs and Press Secretary at the Department of Homeland Security. After managing the Office of Public Affairs at DHS, Houlton served as DHS Deputy Chief of Staff. He also oversaw the External Affairs of the Department, including the Office of Public Affairs, the Office of Legislative Affairs, and the Office of Public Engagement.

Prior to joining Rep. Wied’s office, Houlton spent four years consulting in the private sector. Tyler served as a spokesperson and policy advisor for the National Republican Congressional Committee.
