Chartwell Strategy Group Announces Addition of Keith Cocozza and Brandon Brown as Senior Advisors

March 16, 2021 – WASHINGTON – Chartwell Strategy Group announced today that Keith Cocozza, a longtime corporate communications executive who was previously Executive Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Communications at WarnerMedia (formerly known as Time Warner), and Brandon Brown, a well-known Southern Democratic operative and veteran HBCU public affairs professional have joined the firm as Senior Advisors. Chartwell is a strategic advisory firm that navigates high stakes policy and reputational issues on behalf of the world’s most influential companies and organizations.

Keith Cocozza is also the founder of Inwood Consulting LLC, specializing in communications strategy, public relations, and crisis communications. Previously, Cocozza was Executive Vice President for Corporate Marketing and Communications at WarnerMedia. Before working in the media industry, Cocozza served in the New York City Mayor’s Office as a legislative affairs director. He began his professional career working for New York State Governor Mario Cuomo as a Director of Public Information.

Brandon Brown served as Director for Southern States on the Tim Ryan for President campaign and South Carolina State Deputy Political Director on the Biden for President campaign in 2007-2008. He was Associate Vice-President of Institutional Advancement at Jackson State University and Senior Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Paine College, nationally recognized HBCUs. A native of Greenville, South Carolina, he founded the HBCU Sports Classic to aid Upstate South Carolina students at post-secondary institutions.
